Emilee on Mathew's quad.

Emilee and Kialey getting ready to go to the back side of the dunes for hours of fun.

THE GIRLS RIDING QUADS.... Kialey is on Mathew's quad and Emilee is on Jaden's quad (neighbors son). Emilee loved it so much that she said she wants it to be one of her intrests in life. Maybe we will get her a quad instead of a car when she is 16.

Mathew is getting ready to ride his quad. We only have two kids quads (250's). So all 5 kids have to share. But once Mathew was on there was no getting him off. He loves his quad. He is so funny he won't ride his quad on small hills, but he loves going in circles around the outside of camp. He said he wants to stay where it's flat and safe. But he will ride the hills in the field behind our house. What a silly guy.

Che'anne would sit and play in the sand for hours. She says she wants to go camping there again, just to play in the sand.

This is what is one the other side of the dune for anyone who hasn't been there or has been there but never went to the top or the other side. Emilee went to the other side with friends and rode quads for hours over there. She said she had the time of her life ride quads with Josh and LeeAnn. Emilee wants a quad of her own now. What did we start???

We went to the Sand Dunes with neighbors for a 3 day 2 night camping trip. This was a different kind of camping for the kids and I. We are use to mountain and lake side camping. You have to bring your own shade out at the dunes. We had so much fun that weekend. We took Mathew and Che'annes quads with us. Mathew, Emilee, Kialey and Brayden had fun riding the quads around camp. Bryan took me to the top of the 750 foot dune on our neighbors quad. It was really scary. I will NEVER do it again, but at least I can say I've been to the top on a quad.

I looked at all my options and this seems to be the best for me with the economy the way it is. I have enrolled with Fortis College and start school April 20,2009, I will graduate March 25, 2010. My courses will include: General Anatomy & Physiology for Allied Dental Professionals, Dental Assisting Procedures and Restorative Applications, Dental Specialties and Expanded Functions, Dental Materials/Prostheses Fabrication, Radiology, Computer Applications and Billing, Dental Office Procedures, Dental Assisting Seminar, Dental Clinical I, Dental Clinical II.

Tuesday, March 10, 2009

I enrolled in college 3-9-09. I will be going to Fortis College to become a Dental Assistant. I am very excited and I am looking forward to having a career when I finish school. I can't be a stay at home mom forever. My kids are finally old enough that going to school can finally become a reality for me. I have a lot of support in this, which makes it nice. I start school mid April. I have an appointment with financial aide the first week of April. Fortis is a brand new school. Which is nice because we get to work with new matrials and machines. They don't want the students to be just a number in the classrooms, so they plan on keeping the classes small. 16 people in the labs, 28 people per classroom, with only 2 classrooms for Dental assisting. Classes are day or night. I will be going during the day. I will go 3 days a week for a total of 20 hours a week. The course lasts 9 months. They have a dental office set up in the school, so that there is a lot of hands on. I am really looking forward to this. I think this will be a great step for me in life.

I haven't had this much fun in a really long time. And Bryan says this is just the begining of our adventures.

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. I do have new pictures, but mine and Bryans kids got ahold of my memory card for my camera and no one seems to want to own up to who lost it. So until I get a new card and start taking new pictures, blog will just have to stay like this. Bryan and I celebrated our first Valentines Day with friends. We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner ( thank goodness Catie knew the owner ) or it would have been a 2 hour wait. We only waited 35 minutes. Bryan told his mom on Valentines Day that he is planning on marrying me real soon. His mom told me she loved me and that she was happy that I make her son happy and that it will be great to have me be a part of their family. Bryan has a very sweet family. I will let everyone know when he "Pops The Question" and I will post a picture of the ring. Love to everyone, muah!

Promise Ring

I recieved this promise ring from Bryan on Christmas Day. He made giving it to me special. He wrote down clues on paper and placed the clues in different spots around the house. Each clue lead me somewhere different and then the last clue lead me to him. He pulled a box out of his pocket and said to me, " This is my promise, that one day I will marry you". It was so sweet and unexpected. I have never had anyone do that for me before. A memory to be treasured always.

Bryan with Don (our neighbor from across the street). He is over here almost everyday. If he isn't here then Bryan will be over at his house. Bryan and Don have known each other for 7 years now. Don feels like part of the family. We are blessed, we have such wonderful friends in our lives.

Here is Mathew standing in our driveway 2 days after Christmas. He is getting ready to head to the park to go sledding (thank goodness the park is right over our back fence). We have so much snow at our house. Bryan's back is killing him from all the shoveling. We may need to invest in a snowblower.

On December 31st 2008 Bryan celebrated his 44th birthday. We had a nice time with family. Thank You to everyone who came over to celebrate with us.

Here I am with Kim and Marlisa. They are such beautiful women inside and out. I enjoy being around them. They are so much fun!

These are two of Bryan's close friends. Kim is on the left, Bryan has known her since he was in the 5th grade and she was in the 3rd grade. Kim was best friends will Bryan's sister in grade school. Marlisa is on the right, Marlisa and Bryan have been friends for 15 years.

Bryan and I at his birthday party. I haven't had that much fun in a really long time. We had 25 close friends come out to celebrate with us. Bryan keeps telling me he will remember this birthday always.

This is Sheldon Brown. I went to high school with him. We have been talking on facebook. He is really funny. He joined Bryan and I at Bryan's birthday party. That day will be a day to remember.
